Big Rapids Hospital maintains a level IV trauma designation and is a TJC Comprehensive Stroke Center.  Big Rapids Hospital offers a full range of services, including inpatient medical, surgical, obstetrical, and critical care units.  Outpatient services include a full-service laboratory; a full complement of medical imaging diagnostic services, including CT and MRI, 3D mammography, bone density testing, and ultrasound; comprehensive cardiopulmonary services; rehabilitation services, including cardiac, and pulmonary rehab; along with an array of outpatient surgical procedures.   

In addition, Big Rapids Hospital has a 24-hour emergency department with all-private treatment rooms.  Medical staff include general surgery, orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine, urology, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics & gynecology.
