Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Texarkana is a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services and home health care designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives. 

Our hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled, independent private practice physicians and HealthSouth therapists and nurses, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality care. Designed with our patient’s care in mind, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Texarkana offers semi-private rooms with individual televisions, telephones and wireless internet capabilities. 

In addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnoses such as orthopedics, cardiac, pulmonary and generalized debility, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Texarkana has specialized inpatient programs for stroke, brain injury, and neurological programs. Other services offered include outpatient, home health services and aquatic classes for our arthritis program. 


PM&R Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients and an outpatient rehabilitation practice if he or she chooses. The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections.
