Nestled amid towering pines and lush forest, Kingwood Medical Center (www.kingwoodmedical.com) is located approximately 23 miles northeast of Houston, in beautiful Kingwood, Texas. KMC is a 373-bed, full-service, acute-care hospital that has been providing medical care to the community for more than 23 years. The hospital offers a range of inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and specialty services provided by nearly 500 board-certified physicians. First and only hospital along the 59-North corridor to offer comprehensive Neuroscience and Cardiovascular programs. Chest Pain Accredited. Primary Stroke Center Accredited. Level III Emergency Department with onsite Express Care and offsite Free Standing Emergency Department. In addition, the on-site Solis Mammography Center (www.SolisMammo.com) offers our patients with a full range of services and provides exceptional clinical accuracy that comes from a dedicated focus on breast specialization (a practice shown to dramatically increase the accuracy of a mammogram). By providing the most advanced technology available, including 3D mammography, scheduling software, and data management we are able to offer our patients quality care and a quick turnaround time in the center - typically less than 30 to 40 minutes.

COMMUNITY:
Kingwood (www.Kingwood.com) is a large, 14,000 acre master planned community located just north of Houston. It is also known as the 'Livable Forest' has a population of 150,000, but a catchment area of 350,000. Kingwood is best known for being a community that exists in harmony with nature.
