East Hawaii Medical Group (EHMG) is the East Hawaii Region’s employed provider group. Noted as being the largest group of healthcare providers on the Big Island, we are  comprised of over 140 physicians and advanced practice providers representing a wide range of medical specialties. Established with the mission of enhancing the health of our community through outstanding and compassionate care, we support the Hilo Benioff Medical Center and the East Hawaii Health Clinics, ensuring that both primary and specialty care needs are met. Our providers are the heart of our organization and are motivated by a passion to provide exceptional patient care through a culture of collegiality, teamwork and collaboration. We are part of the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, a public entity established in 1996 by the State of Hawaii to fulfill the promise to provide quality, hometown healthcare.
