Long Island Jewish Valley Stream (formerly Franklin Hospital) is a 305-bed community hospital. Offering a comprehensive array of programs and services to patients from Nassau and Southeastern Queens Counties, Franklin Hospital has one of the most advanced Emergency Departments in the region and a 21-bed short-term psychiatric unit. The hospital is home to a state-of-the-art 120-bed facility known as Northwell Health Orzac Center for Rehabilitation. This facility houses the hospital’s long-term care and rehabilitative medicine department and the medically oriented Adult Day Health Care Program.
Long Island Jewish Valley Stream is a Northwell Health System designated Center of Orthopedic Excellence. The orthopedic surgery program covers a full range of surgical treatments including fracture care and total joint replacements.
