Our 6,100 affiliated physicians and 29,000 employees practice the highest standards of safe, evidence-based, quality care to provide a personalized and outcome-oriented experience across our more than 270 care delivery sites. Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center is one of the nation's busiest Level I trauma centers and serves as the primary teaching hospital for McGovern Medical School at UTHealth.
For more than 114 years, our focus has been the best interest of our community, contributing more than $411 million annually through school-based health centers and other community benefit programs. Now and for generations to come, the health of our community will be at the center of what we do – charting a better future for all.
Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital opened on March 31, 2017 and brings the expertise of the Memorial Hermann Health System, including the region’s top medical specialists, to families in the Cypress and Northwest Houston area.
In our 4.5 years, Memorial Hermann Cypress has continued to exceed expectations, including a $25 million expansion after our first year of operation as well as surpassed our year-over-year budget and volume goals. In addition, our Medical Staff has grown by 320% since we opened our doors; we currently have over 800 physicians credentialed on staff.
Due to our continued success and growth in the market, our future includes an expansion plan that will be inclusive of a 38-bed Medical/Surgical unit with the addition of two Observation beds. The expansion would make us a 143-licensed inpatient bed hospital. In addition, this expansion will also be inclusive of a parking garage and a second medical plaza.
Memorial Hermann Cypress is master-planned to be a 400-bed hospital.
