With more than 2,300 staff and over 675 physicians, Riverside Community Hospital is committed to providing safe, high quality healthcare to our patients. We offer advanced capabilities in many specialties including robotic assisted surgery with the daVinci surgical system, MazorX surgical spine guidance robot, as well as TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement) procedure, and a suite of advanced equipment allowing physicians to offer patients optimal care. We are a teaching hospital with over 180 medical residents in our Graduate Medical Education program and continue to train the physicians of tomorrow. Key services include cardiac surgery (open heart), neuroscience/stroke, cardiology cath lab, neurosurgery, orthopedics, transplant, general surgery/surgical oncology. Licensed beds: 478, emergency room bays: 50.
In early 2018, Riverside Community Hospital was recognized as The Joint Commission Top Performing Hospital, The Joint Commission Primary Stroke Certified, and The Joint Commission Sepsis Certification. As of May 2018, RCH is the first West Coast facility to earn The Joint Commission Thombectomy Capable Center designation for ischemic stroke. We are proud to be American College of Surgeons accredited as a Cancer Center, Bariatric Center, (also MBSAQIP certified), and have earned the Blue Distinction for hip, knee, and spine surgery. Riverside Community Hospital also received the Healthgrades 2018 Patient Safety Excellence Award, a designation that recognizes superior performance of hospitals that have prevented the occurrence of serious, potentially avoidable complications for patients during hospital stays.
