Saint Peter’s University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. Saint Peter’s brings the latest medical practices and highly skilled professionals to the bedside. We employ more than 3,600 healthcare professionals and support personnel, and more than 1,000 doctors and dentists are on staff at our hospital. We treat more than 23,000 inpatients and more than 245,000 outpatients yearly.

Saint Peter's Healthcare System was formed in 2007 and reflects the expansive scope of health and wellness services we offer to our community.

Our services are offered to all. We are a Catholic institution with a capital "C" and a small "c." We draw inspiration from our religious heritage. Our care for others is universal, extending to those of other faiths and in some cases, of no faith whatsoever. Without question, the fact that ours is a faith-based healthcare delivery system is of primary significance.
