*Nuclear Medicine Technologist Responsibilities:*

* *Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals* for diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures in accordance with safety standards
* *Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures* including *PET, SPECT, and gamma camera scans* following physician orders and clinical protocols
* *Monitor patients* before, during, and after procedures for comfort and any adverse reactions
* *Process and analyze image data* to produce high-quality diagnostic results for radiologist review
* *Ensure compliance* with hospital policies and regulatory standards, including NRC, HIPAA, and radiation safety guidelines
* *Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment* to ensure accurate and safe operation

*Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:*

* Minimum *1 year of experience* as a *Nuclear Medicine Technologist* (Required)
* Valid *Nuclear Medicine Technologist License* or *ARRT(N)* Certification (Required)
* Prior *hospital or acute care experience* (Preferred)
