A well-known hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their Radiology team.

About the Opportunity:

Schedule: Standard business
Hours: 8am to 4pm
Setting: Acute Care

Responsibilities:

Assist the Interventional Radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body.
Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment
Administer contrast dyes
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

A valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH (can be obtained after the offer)

Eligible Advanced Certifications from ARRT include the following:

ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology
ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
Associate's Degree from a Radiologic Technology program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting
