*LECOM Health Medical Center and Behavioral Health Pavilion, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is currently looking for a Radiology Technologist (Full Time) to join our team.*
As a Radiology Technologist, you will be integral to delivering high-quality medical imaging services that aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. Come be a part of our expanding hospital!!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
2. Performs radiographic examinations.
3. Checks equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular basis.
4. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; performs preventative maintenance on a regular scheduled basis; contacts outside service for major malfunctions.
5. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
6. Transports patients to radiographic room; prepares and maintains room.
7. Request and orders supplies as necessary to keep materials on hand at all times.
8. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
9. Attends meetings as required.
10.Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Course(s)/Training: Accredited program in Radiologic Technology Membership of the Stroke team includes mandatory hours of education annually specifically related to diagnosis/assessment and management of acute stroke/ cerebrovascular disease.
Req. Certification/Registration: Registration/license as required
Physical Demands: Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking Lifts, positions, pushes, and/or transfers patients Lifts supplies/equipment
Working Conditions: Subject to electrical and radiant energy hazards
