Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride treatment, and root planning
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide postoperative instructions
- Conduct dental radiographs for diagnostic purposes
- Maintain and sterilize dental equipment
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records
Skills:
- Proficient in infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment
- Competent in medical imaging techniques for oral health assessment
- Skilled in aseptic technique to prevent infections during procedures
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
