*We are looking to add awesome people to our growing team! Wolf River Dental in Shawano WI is seeking a full-time (and/ or part-time) Registered Dental Hygienist. *Our private practice offers a newly built facility with state of the art technology. Due to practice growth we are seeking to expand our team to continue to provide an exceptional patient experience to our community.
We offer competitive wages and benefits packages and value work/ life balance. Our office is open Monday - Friday and have the flexibility of offering either; 5 days, Monday - Friday or 4 day schedule, Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday. We would also consider part-time scheduling on varied days, to the right candidate.

*Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Assist in the administration of local anesthesia and other necessary procedures as directed by the dentist.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
* Take and interpret vital signs as part of patient assessments.
* Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
* Operate dental software such as Dentrix for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
* Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures in both general and pediatric dentistry.
* Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
* Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile work environment.
* Understanding of medical coding related to dental procedures.
* Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
* Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred, with knowledge of common dental software such as Dentrix being an advantage.
