Scott County Hospital is seeking to hire a Full Time Pharmacist-Director of Pharmacy.
Scott County Hospital is a 25-bed CAH Hospital and Rural Health Clinic serving SW Kansas located in a beautiful newly built Hospital in Scott City, KS with additional expansion in July 2019.
The pharmacist monitors inpatient and outpatient drug therapies to ensure the best pharmaceutical care and results. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Provide accurate and timely drug information to the professional staff and patients. Interpret medication orders, transcribe, prepare, and dispense medications.
* Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel.
* Manage pharmaceutical supplies,
* Oversee 340b program management, and comply with HIPAA.

Hospital will pay for Board Certification, State Licensure and DEA fees.
Applicants must be a graduate of an ACPE-Accredited School of Pharmacy, successfully passed NAPLEX and Kansas MPJE examinations, possess a BS or Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree, be licensed with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy. 340b experience is preferred. Starting pay is $105,000, negotiable based on experience.
