The Staff Pharmacist is solely responsible for the pharmacy while on duty. They will be expected, once trained, to be capable of working independently of supervision and to be able to respond to any problems that present themselves.
The Staff Pharmacist will also be responsible for:
* Receiving and filling prescriptions
* Communicating with medical professionals about patients and their medications
* Listening to patients' reports of symptoms and provide suggestions for over-the-counter medications
* Accurately measuring, preparing and distributing proper medications to the patients that need them
* Keeping track of inventory
* Properly bill, document, and administer vaccines
Qualifications:
* Doctorate in Pharmacy
* Registered Pharmacist in Massachusetts
* APhA Vaccine Certification
* CPR Certification
* Authorization to work in the United States
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
