Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. We are a 3.7 Level of Care Substance Abuse detox program and 3.5 Level of Care Inpatient Residential Recovery Center.

Responsibilities include:
Responsible for monitoring and treatment of patients.
Work with physician to plan and implement and evaluate plans of care for patients.
Knowledge of drug tapers and administration.
Provide direct patient care, implementation of medical orders withing with physician to ensure patient completes a safe detox when applicable.
EMR documentation. Measure and record patients while signs and alert physician of any change in condition. Monitor for medication adverse reactions.
COWS & CIWAs
Oversee clients self-administer medication.
Conduct nightly chart audits and medication.
Track and order medication refills for clients, as needed.
Promote infection prevention and infection control.
Recurring assessment, interaction, observation, and documentation of clients.
Respond to emergency situations in a time frame appropriate to the needs of the patient
Maintain standards set by DHCA, IMS, and the CARF.
Maintain a professional, ethical relationship with other staff, clients, and the general public.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as delegated by their supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of two (1) years of substance abuse, psychiatric or behavioral healthcare experience preferred. Able to manage high level and/or complex situations. Must have excellent skills in verbal communication as well as good organization and time management skills. Must be customer service oriented with a professional attitude. Must have familiarity and competency with the computer (i.e., emails, client data entry, etc.). CPR/First Aid certified, TB test, Health Screen, and pass background check and drug screen. COVID Vaccination Card and/or Declination Form. Prefer individuals who have maintained at least three (3) years of sobriety (if in personal recovery).
Licensed to practice as a registered professional nurse (RN) or LPN from an approved school of nursing and holds a diploma from that school. A valid CPR/First Aid certification is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
