Contract is for 10 months (August 28th, 2023-June 30th, 2024). Hours are 8am-3:30pm for 3 days a week.
*JOB REQUIREMENTS*
The Physical Therapist shall:
License from the Pennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy.
Have at least two years of previous PT experience
Preferably have experience working with special education students
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of effective physical therapy techniques and strategies
Demonstrate enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.

The Physical Therapist at Y.A.L.E. School assumes the professional responsibility for providing experiences and supervision of assigned students in a safe, supportive and positive therapeutic environment that develops in each student the skills, attitudes, and knowledge to meet and exceed their assigned goals and objectives. Achieving excellence requires the Occupational Therapist to work collaboratively with other members of the school staff and with parents.
In addition, the Physical Therapist will strive to meet the criteria for the delivery of quality therapy, using data to drive therapy sessions and IEP goals and objectives, the preparation of progress reports, the use of data to drive therapy sessions, and addressing the needs of diverse learners through leadership and professionalism.
Y.A.L.E. School provides a positive approach to learning for students with disabilities 3 to 21 years of age, who need a specialized setting in order to benefit from education.
On our campuses, Y.A.L.E. School serves students with social, emotional, learning, and behavioral disabilities from Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Gloucester, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Salem counties. As well as Philadelphia
