Job Description:

Dr. Campbell is seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our dedicated team.

*Roles & Responsibilities:*

• *Evaluation* of patient's oral health by completing comprehensive intra and extra oral assessments (including a screening for oral cancer and myofunctional disorders), take x-rays, provide a preventive cleaning (prophylaxis), apply topical fluoride, complete sealants, scaling and rootplaning for patients with periodontal disease and offer patient-specific preventative and educational services.

* *Responsibilities* are within the NC Dental Board's guidelines of permitted functions.

*Administrative Responsibilities*

*Record Keeping:* Documenting patient care, maintaining patient records, and updating charts within Eaglesoft.

* *Insurance:* Basic understanding of the insurance companies we are in network with to be able to answer patient questions and/or concerns.
* *Office Management:* General administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

*Key Skills and Qualifications*

* *Technical Skills:* Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar practice management system.
* *Communication Skills:* Clear communication with patients and other staff members.
* *Attention to Detail:* Meticulous approach to record-keeping and procedures.
* *Organization:* Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $46.00 - $52.00 per hour
