*Job Description:*
As a Dental Hygienist at Smile Dailey Dental, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our patients' oral health. Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine cleanings, educating patients on proper oral hygiene, assisting with preventive care, and working alongside our team of dentists and dental assistants to provide top-notch dental care.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
* Take X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures
* Occasionally numb restorative patients for dentists
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
* Document patient treatment and progress in our dental software system
* Assist in the development and implementation of personalized patient care plans
* Sterilize and maintain dental equipment
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations
* Work collaboratively with dentists and the dental team to deliver optimal care
* Stay current on dental hygiene trends and best practices
*Requirements:*
* Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
* Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
* Local anesthesia license
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
* Experience with Eaglesoft and iTero digital scanning a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
