Seeking certified or certified eligible veterinary tech to assist board-certified surgeon in privately owned small animal practice. Family environment.
*Pay Range: Starting at $20/hour based on experience *
*Schedule: *
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, no weekends. OT after 8 hours/day.
*Veterinary Technician Responsibilities :*
* draw blood
* place a catheter
* calculate dosages
* take x-rays and be comfortable monitoring anesthesia during surgery.
*Veterinary Technician Requirements:*
* Must have Veterinary Technician experience
* Must have some pet care experience in the veterinary field
* Certification as a Veterinary Technician is nice to have but not required
