Our company is seeking a dedicated and dynamic DON to join our amazing team! The primary purpose of the position is to ensure the highest quality of care for the residents and creating/supporting a nursing team of high quality individuals focused on the same.
*Some Duties Include: *
* Respect all resident rights, including the confidentiality of resident care information.
* Assist the Medical Director and individual attending physicians in assessing each resident and implementing a plan of care.
* Understand and implement the plan of care and assess resident needs with the MDS. Monitor patient care plans for relevancy, accuracy, and updates.
* Input medical information into the computer using the Master Chart program.
* Plan for the care of each resident upon discharge by working with the physician, family, social services department, and other health-related agencies as appropriate.
* Respect all resident rights, including the confidentiality of resident care information.
* Report immediately to the Administrator and to the proper legal authorities if you have reason to believe a resident has been physically, emotionally, or sexually abused, or been a victim of theft of their personal property.
* Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, cheerfulness, enthusiasm, and love, giving the resident the quality of service you would want to receive personally.
*Skills, Education and Experience*
* Minimum two (2) years experience as a DON/Nursing Management in a Skilled Nursing Facility strongly preferred.
* Associates or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
* Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing in state employed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
