*Position Summary*

As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with our dentists to provide exceptional oral health care to our patients. You'll play a vital role in preventive care, patient education, and clinical support, all while upholding the highest standards of care.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Conduct patient screenings, including medical history and periodontal charting
* Perform dental cleanings, polishing, and fluoride treatments
* Take and interpret radiographs
* Apply sealants and educate patients on oral hygiene and dietary habits
* Maintain accurate electronic health records
* Assist in treatment planning and patient communication
* Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
* Serve as a primary treatment coordinator and liaison between patient and dentist
* Support ancillary duties as needed

*Qualifications*

* Must be present by *8:15 AM* daily (clinic opens at 8:30 AM)
* Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
* *Current North Carolina Dental Hygienist license* required
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to confidentiality and patient care excellence
* Flexibility and a positive attitude toward changing assignments
