*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals with 80% productivity.
* Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions tailored for geriatric patients.
* Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
* Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
* Provide guidance and education to families regarding communication strategies and resources.
* Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices and research.
*Qualifications*
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
* Experience in early intervention and geriatric settings is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of cognitive disorders, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech disorders.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to build rapport with elders and their families.
* Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
