*About the Role:*
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced *Hospice Nurse* to join our team in a *salaried on-call role*. This unique *7 on / 7 off schedule* offers the ideal balance of meaningful clinical work and extended personal time - a total of *26 weeks off per year*.
During your on-call week, you will be the primary clinical resource for urgent patient needs, symptom management, and end-of-life support. You'll collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide phone triage and in-person hospice nursing visits as needed during on-call hours.
* Assess and manage urgent symptoms and changes in condition.
* Coordinate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and aides to support the patient and family.
* Document clinical assessments and interventions in a timely and accurate manner.
* Uphold the mission and values of hospice care with compassion and professionalism.
*Schedule:*
* *Work 7 consecutive days (on-call), then enjoy 7 days off.*
* On-call coverage includes weekdays, nights, and weekends during your on-week.
* This is a salaried position - compensation is not based on volume or visits.
