Spence Counseling Center is hiring up to 2 mental health or substance abuse counselors for our growing metro area Christian counseling practice. The positions available will have the responsibility for providing mental health and substance abuse services to individuals, couples, and families in an outpatient office setting. Therapists will assess, evaluate, and treat a wide range of clinical disorders in accordance with state, federal, and HIPAA compliance. These services are provided under the direction of the Clinical Director and direct Supervisor.
The professional applicant will meet the following requirements, education, and licensure.
Education Requirements
* Minimum of a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a Social Sciences related field from an accredited college or university.
* License and Certifications Required
* PLMHP, LMHP, LIMHP, LMHC, PhD, PsyD, LADC, or similar license required by the state.
Qualifications
* Provide high quality, compassionate, and ethical outpatient mental health therapy with families, couples, and individuals.
* Possess excellent verbal and written skills allowing for case conceptualization.
* Ability to maintain case files in accurate and timely manner.
* Be highly organized with good time management skills.
* Ability to multi-tasks and be self-motivated.
* Be able to participate as a positive team member and consult with other staff members to therapeutically help clients.
* Knowledge of trauma informed therapy, family systems, adult/child issues, and to be able to apply them appropriately to each client.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
