*Position Overview*

We are seeking an experienced and motivated *Physical Therapist (PT)* to serve as our *Interim Director of Physical Therapy*, with the opportunity to transition into a *permanent leadership role*. This position is ideal for a clinically strong PT ready to advance into management, guiding a dynamic therapy department and helping shape the future of Kure's therapy services as we grow.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and scheduling support for PT and PTA staff.
* Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards (Title 22, CMS Conditions of Participation, etc.).
* Conduct home visits as needed and review clinical documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
* Collaborate closely with nursing, administration, and HR to support interdisciplinary care and performance improvement.
* Lead initiatives for staff development, productivity optimization, and patient satisfaction.
* Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new therapy personnel as we expand into additional regions.

*Qualifications*

* Active California Physical Therapist License (required)
* Minimum 1.5 years of experience in home health or rehabilitative care
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
* Experience with EMR systems (WellSky/Kinnser preferred)
* Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
