*Position Title: School-Based Physical Therapist (Flagler County, FL)*

*Position Overview*
CTC is seeking a dedicated *Physical Therapist* to join the Flagler County Public Schools system. As a school-based PT, you will support students from preK through grade 12 (and in some cases virtual/alternative programs), providing evaluation, direct therapy, consultation, and collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers.
You will play a critical role in designing and implementing interventions that help students access their educational program, improve mobility, functional independence, and support participation in school life.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Conduct physical therapy evaluations and reevaluations for students with IEPs and 504 plans
* Develop individualized intervention plans aligned with students' educational goals
* Provide direct therapy services (individual, small group, or classroom-based)
* Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans as needed
* Consult with teachers, aides, school staff, and families regarding strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment
* Train staff and assist in implementation of therapeutic techniques or positioning/handling strategies
* Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multidisciplinary team planning
* Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations (IDEA, Medicaid, etc.)
* Ensure timely and accurate documentation and billing (if applicable)
* Attend professional development, district meetings, and ongoing training
* Travel among schools in the district as needed
*Qualifications / Requirements*
* *Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)* or master's-level degree in physical therapy
* Valid licensure (or ability to obtain licensure) in the State of Florida
* Experience (or strong interest) in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or neurodevelopmental disorders
* Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, IEP processes, and school-based delivery models
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Flexible, adaptive, and able to manage caseloads across multiple sites
* Strong documentation and organizational skills
