Compass Cancer Center in East Lansing is looking for a Radiation Therapists to join our team. This position provides accurate delivery of radiation therapy treatments and assures the needs of the patients are met with the supervision of our Radiation Oncology Manager and our Radiation Oncologist.

Candidate will maintain positive patient relations and represents the Compass in a professional, friendly and patient-focused manner by performing the following duties:

* To assure that the primary needs of patients are met and that patients are satisfied with their care.
* To administer accurate and efficient treatments to patients.
* To assure smooth functioning of the day-to-day operation.
* To administer medical information in a professional and accurate manner that complies with federal and state regulations.
* To maintain positive patient relations.
* To maintain the treatment machines and patients schedule to make the most efficient and effective use of their time.
* Administers, documents, and evaluates radiation therapy treatments
* Uses simulation equipment to localize tumors and set treatment parameters
* Fabricates immobilization devices and treatment aids
* Participates in quality assurance and equipment maintenance
* Maintains, notes, charts, reports, and other documentation related to the work.
* Seeks to improve quality of service by continuously developing individual and unit competencies within scope of practice.
* Performs other related responsibilities as necessary.

*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:*

* Bachelor's Degree preferred.

*CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:*

* A.R.R.T. Radiation Therapy Technology Certification or registry eligible.
