*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric care. The Physical Therapist will work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team within the preschool.
The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy intervention according to the specific needs of the child and the IEP/IFSP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensures that assigned children are receiving physical therapy per IEP.
* Maintains logs and write reports as required.
* Physical therapy evaluation as needed.
* Participates as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team.
* Adheres to all policies and procedures.
* Attends training/conferences for professional growth.
* Maintains a positive working relationship with administration, staff and parents.
* Interacts with parents, staff and other outside agencies in a positive manner to facilitate the development of good working relationships.
* Capable of lifting a child with a weight of 45 pounds multiple times a day.
* Conduct parent workshops as needed
* Attend all training/conferences department and monthly staff meetings
* Provides in-service training for staff as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
* NYS license in P.T.
* Experience with pediatrics.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
