*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. This role requires proficiency in X-ray and assisting with procedures, as well as a solid understanding of medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays.
* Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
* Prepare and position patients for imaging exams according to established protocols.
* Operate imaging equipment effectively while adhering to safety standards.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
* Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in ongoing education.
* Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
*Qualifications*
* Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
* Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
* Experience in X-ray is required.
* Proficiency in medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
* Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
* Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
