Olde Naples Animal Wellness Center is seeking a full-time Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team

Currently, we are seeking a full time Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team!

You confidently support the veterinarians in day-to-day functions of the clinic. You are comfortable educating clients and have excellent written & verbal communication skills. You enjoy working with a close team that shares a sense of humor.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

* Graduate from an AVMA certified program in Veterinary Technology, maintained CE requirements and licensure preferred, but experience will be considered in lieu of licensure

* This position requires experience in surgery, anesthesia, and advanced nursing care

* Competency in: Restraint, Blood draws, IV catheter placement, Dental cleaning/radiographs, Taking diagnostic radiographs, Administering medications via all routes, Surgical nursing, Anesthetic monitoring, Laboratory -running in house blood work: chemistries, CBC, UA etc.

* Able to perform physical job duties, interacting with animals, using and sterilizing medical equipment

* Experienced in working with technology and equipment

* Familiar with or ability to learn Veterinary Practice Management Software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.91 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
