We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. We are a well established private practice and we have long term staff along with long time patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental hygiene services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and efficient dental clinic environment.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
* Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures while adhering to infection control protocols.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment in the dental office.
* Assist the dentist during various procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
* Document patient information accurately in Dentrix Ascend software while complying with HIPAA regulations.
* Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional care in pediatric dentistry settings.
* Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
*Requirements*
* Valid Colorado State license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
* Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
* Experience with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients of all ages, particularly children in pediatric dentistry.
* Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and provide tailored oral health education.
* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
* A compassionate approach toward patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Our office is open Monday-Thursday (Friday's off) from 8am-5pm. This position is 4 days a week. We offer employer sponsored health insurance, vision insurance and a 401k plan with an employer match. \*\*We are offering a generous sign-on bonus for this role!\*\*
