Are you a new or seasoned dental hygienist looking for a new opportunity? Our West Salem practice is expanding and needs your expertise. Join us part-time, preferably Wednesdays and Thursdays..
The ideal candidate will be passionate about both oral and general health and providing exceptional patient care. Become an important part of a team which works together and is supportive.
*Qualifications*
- Current Oregon Dental Hygiene License
- Nitrous Oxide Sedation a plus
*Responsibilities*
- Conduct exceptional periodontal therapy for patients of all ages- Co-manage patients with the dentist as a *TEAM*
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and how they affect our overall health
- Perform dental charting and take patient medical histories with the help of our amazing dental assistants. Yes, you actually get help on *EVERY* patient!
- Take digital radiographs
- We have a sterilization tech and dental assistants to take care of room turnover - *NO ROOM TURNOVER*
- Update and maintain patient dental records - our software is Daisy
_*YOU*_ *DICTATE APPOINTMENT DURATION - *_*YOU*_ *UNDERSTAND HOW LONG IT TAKES TO TAKE EXCEPTIONAL CARE OF EACH PATIENT - *_*YOU *_*ARE THE PROFESSIONAL!!*
*Skills*
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols. Asepsis cannot be negotiated.
- Skilled in dental documentation (Daisy is the software)
