*Gastroenterology East, P.A. & Endoscopy Center* is located within the Medical District of Greenville, NC. We are a professional, expeditious, patient-centric Practice and Ambulatory Surgery Center eager to serve Eastern North Carolina and surrounding areas!

*Registered Nurses* at Gastro East are responsible for the admission/discharge of our patients for procedures (Endoscopies and Colonoscopies) in our AAAHC accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center.

*Job Duties and Responsibilities:*

* Utilize nursing process for individual care in order to meet the needs of each patient and accompanying family member/loved one
* Demonstrate ability to perform technical skills
* Adequately educate patients and their family members during the admission/discharge process
* Accurately document all patient care
* Evaluate the identified problems, process care provided, and ensure patient's responses are reassessed to meet patient/family needs and ensure overall quality of care
* Maintain uptodate and accurate documentation of care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team
* Maintain current and up-to-date knowledge, certification, licensure, etc. relative to the field
* Pursue professional and personal growth and development
* Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment
* Attend all required safety training programs
* Ability to relay responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific jobrelated hazards

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
