*Responsibilities:*
* Perform comprehensive oral hygiene assessments, including charting dental and periodontal conditions, and documenting findings accurately in patient records.
* Provide professional dental cleanings, scaling and root planning, and debridement procedures.
* Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventative agents.
* Take and develop high-quality digital dental radiographs.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, individualized home care plans, and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
* Assist the dentist with examinations and procedures as needed.
* Maintain a clean and organized operatory.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
* Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
* Collaborate effectively with the dentist, dental assistants, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
*Qualifications:*
* State of Nevada Dental Hygiene License,
* Laser certified if possible (if not we will provide training),
* CPR certified.
* Understanding of health & safety regulations
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
* A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
