The Spa at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is a seeking a talented Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in restorative massage, rejuvenating facials, luxurious body treatments and possess expertise in various massage modalities to provide exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
* Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients to determine their specific needs and preferences for massage therapy.
* Provide various massage techniques such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and other therapeutic modalities to address patients' pain management needs
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments patients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance the benefits of massage therapy.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines in the practice of massage therapy.
Qualifications:
* Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist.
* Proficiency in various massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and other therapeutic modalities.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service.
* Ability to assess patients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
* Demonstrated understanding of pain management principles, including acute pain management strategies.
