*Location:* San Angelo, TX
*Duration: Full -Time Permanent*
*Shift:* 4 x 10 hour evening (2pm - 12:00am)
*Pay:* $55,000 - $80,000 per year.
Relocation assistance upto $5000 if eligible
*Requirements:*
* Minimum one year of MRI experience (specific MRI training preferred)
* Graduate of an *AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology*
* Registered with the *American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MR*
* Current *BLS certification*
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
* Must maintain all required state and federal licenses and registries
* Radiology License - by Texas Medical Board.
*Overview:*
* Responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans and ensuring patient safety while maintaining compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.
* Operate MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scanners to produce diagnostic images.
* Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
* Screen patients for safety concerns (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers).
* Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout the scan.
* Monitor patient during imaging for any discomfort or reaction.
* Adjust scan parameters to capture optimal image quality as per physician's request.
