Inspira Health is seeking a *Business Center Clerk* to join our *Surgical Business Services* team on a *per diem* basis. This flexible opportunity offers a minimum of *16 hours per pay period (biweekly)*, with additional hours as needed. Following at least *30 days of in-person training*, the position offers the opportunity to work *fully remote*.
As a Business Center Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and communication functions to ensure a smooth, efficient experience for both patients and providers.
*Work Hours:*
* Shifts scheduled within *7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday*
* *Rotating weekends and some holidays required.*
*Responsibilities:*
* Greet patients and visitors; register them and verify insurance and demographic information
* Schedule surgical procedures, coordinating with provider offices and ancillary departments
* Perform clerical duties including answering phones, ordering supplies, and maintaining front-office operations
* Enter case data into the scheduling system, resolve discrepancies, and optimize patient and provider workflow
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Minimum one (1) year of medical front-office or hospital clerical experience preferred
* Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), EHR scheduling systems, scanners, and printers
* *Bilingual (English/Spanish)* preferred
