Duties:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures: Prophy's, Perio scaling & Root planning,
- Take BTW's & Pan's
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
- Use dental software systems such as Dentrix for scheduling and charting

Skills:

- Proficient in medical terminology and dental anatomy knowledge
- Ability to assist with vital sign monitoring and patient assessment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health care
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

As a Dental Hygienist, you will utilize your expertise in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and general dentistry to provide high-quality oral care to patients. Qualifications
- Chairside assisting experience
- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Skilled in aseptic technique and infection control
- Familiarity with dental office procedures
- Ability to perform patient assessment and medical documentation
- Knowledge of Dentrix
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues
