*Overview*
Looking for a caring and reliable individual to work in our busy office.
\* Schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:30am to 6:00pm with lunch from 12:00pm-1pm

Responsibilities:
* Assist in assessing patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
* Help develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on therapists' recommendations.
* Instruct patients in exercises and activities designed to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion.
* Administer therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and traction under supervision.
* Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary in EHR.
* Educate patients and their families about home exercises and self-care techniques.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including disinfecting equipment and sanitizing treatment areas.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
* Provide direct patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities.
* Utilize trigger point therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
* Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist and other providers.
* Educate patients and their families on care plans, exercises, and home health strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes using medical terminology.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
* Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions from care settings.
* Work with various patient populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and those requiring acute care.
*Qualifications*
* Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field.
* Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.
* Experience in outpatient clinics is preferred.
* Familiarity with discharge planning processes and care plan development.
* Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physical therapy.
* Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
