_Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM_
_Start Date: September 2025 (follows school calendar)_
Healthy Habitats, a boutique clinician-owned staffing company, is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Bayonne Public Schools. This is a full-time role that runs on the school calendar with consistent hours and the opportunity to be a valued presence in a welcoming school community.
*Position Highlights*
* *Schedule*: 5 days/week (Monday-Friday), 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
* *Commitment*: Must be available all five days
* *School-Based*: Follows the district calendar (holidays and breaks off)
*Compensation Options*
We offer two payment models-1099 or W-2-based on your professional setup and preference:
*1099 Contractor*
* *$88/hour*
* Must have (or be willing to establish) an LLC
* We will support you in creating your LLC if needed
* You receive the full hourly rate with no taxes withheld
* More take-home pay flexibility
* You manage your own deductions and taxes
* Great for independent professionals seeking autonomy
*W-2 Employee*
* *$70/hour*
* Employer taxes handled
* *1 week of accrued paid time off (PTO)* annually
* No need to set up an LLC
*What We're Looking For/ Requirements*
* A professional, dependable SLP who works well in dynamic school environments
* Someone flexible, team-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with teachers, child study team members, and school administration
* Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children in an educational setting
* Valid NJ Speech License
* Valid NJ School Certificate
* Valid Fingerprints with NJ Department of Education
