*Job Summary*
Energetic, welcoming, growing chiropractic office in downtown Cedar Grove, NJ seeking a part time to full time physical therapist to help bring our office to the multidisciplinary level. The candidate will start at 3 times per week to eventually build to full time. Hourly rate depends on experience, interview, etc. Flexible schedule that will eventually become fixed as you transition to full time; depending on the case load. NEW GRADUATES WELCOME. Bilingual (Spanish/English) plus. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients through tailored rehabilitation programs. You'll assess and treat individuals with various conditions, utilizing your expertise in physiotherapy to develop effective care plans. The goal is to give comprehensive patient care that promotes recovery and well-being.
* *Responsibilities*
* Provide engaging one-on-one care with patients.
* Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and needs.
* Inform patients of their treatment options and implement any applicable home exercises.
* Develop and implement personalized fitness-oriented health care treatment plans based on individual goals and progress in order to help patient regain lost skills.
* Utilize and administer physical therapy interventions such as modalities, techniques ie trigger point therapy, ART, soft tissue methods to facilitate recovery and prevent re-injury.
* Document accurate up to date patient care history in a timely manner while maintaining accurate and thorough records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for all patient interactions.
* Stay updated on medical terminology, coding, anatomy knowledge, and the latest physiotherapy practices.
* *Basic qualifications*
* Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited education program
* Passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE)
* Completion of the American Physical Therapy Association residency program
* Valid New Jersey License REQUIRED
* Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to physical therapy.
* Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills, especially the ability to show compassion for patients coming from all walks of life
* Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
* Willingness to challenge patients, other team members, and yourself!
Should be able to keep work area organized and maintain a sanitary environment.
