We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and professional dental team as a part-time employee. We are a small office with one dentist and two hygienists who have been here long-term. We are currently looking for an additional hygienist two-three days a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health in a relaxed and friendly setting. *Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
* Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations.
* Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
* Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records using Dentisoft Program.
* Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
* Work with patients of all ages using appropriate techniques.
*Qualifications*
* Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
* Current CPR and Child Abuse Training
* Familiarity with Dentisoft software systems preferred, but we will train.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
* Commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of dental hygiene.
