*Position Summary*
The Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in patient care, preventive treatment, and education. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and passionate about helping patients achieve optimal oral health. You'll work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure each patient receives the highest standard of care.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive care
* Take and evaluate dental radiographs and intraoral images
* Conduct periodontal charting and patient assessments
* Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
* Collaborate with the dentist and team to provide comprehensive care
* Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
* Ensure infection control and sterilization protocols are followed
*Qualifications*
* *Maine Dental Hygiene License required*
* *Local Anesthesia certification preferred*
* Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Positive, team-oriented attitude
* Commitment to patient comfort and exceptional care
*Schedule*
* Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:30pm
* One Friday per month: 7:30am-1:30pm
