* *Shift:* 7 PM-7 AM, 3-on/3-off rotating schedule

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to join our Nursing Services team. This position plays a key role in providing direct care to residents and supervising nursing staff to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants, Medication Technicians/Aides, and Restorative Aides.
* Deliver direct nursing care and oversee daily nursing operations.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
* Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families.
* Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
* Maintain accurate medical records and update care plans.
* Transcribe physician orders and ensure proper execution.
* Perform wound care, suctioning, IV administration, and other skilled nursing tasks.
* Conduct rounds to ensure resident needs are met and staff duties are fulfilled.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support holistic care.
* Participate in survey processes and report incidents or unusual occurrences.
* Ensure adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment.
* Promote teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication.
*Compliance & Safety Responsibilities*
* Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
* Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
* Report noncompliance, abuse, neglect, or safety concerns promptly.
* Participate in emergency drills and fulfill responsibilities during emergency plan activation.
* Follow infection control protocols and report occupational exposures.
*Required Qualifications*
* Nursing Degree from an accredited institution.
* Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of NM.
* Active BLS from AHA.
* Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
* Ability to make independent decisions and handle sensitive situations tactfully.
*Physical & Work Requirements*
* Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, and move intermittently throughout the day.
* Exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
* Must be able to assist in emergency evacuations and participate in emergency drills.
* May work beyond normal hours and be subject to call-back during emergencies.
