*Required Hours of Availability:* Monday -Thursday 8am-6pm

*POSITION SUMMARY*

You will work with the Sr PT floor lead to ensure that all aspects of the PT floor are efficient as possible. You will work to ensure that the PT assistant to patient ratio isn't greater than 1 PT assistant to 3 patients. You will be a player as well as a coach in this role. You will lead the team in ensuring that all the necessary paperwork and documentation is done for each patient encounter. You will participate in the educating of patients and guiding them in the correct Physical Therapy processes. You will be curious about your patient's pain level when they come in for Wellness visits. When the pain level is higher than anticipated, you will recommend them for additional care. You will need to express a breadth of knowledge and experience in these areas, as well as the ability to work and collaborate effectively within a highly team-centric environment.

*PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES*

* Lead PT Team in ensuring that exceptional care is delivered to every patient.
* Develop emotional connection with patients to understand their expected goals and desired outcomes
* Keep PT floor and closet neat and orderly at all times.
* Develop a documented process for how the PT floor can be scaled at multiple practices.
* Ensure that all the necessary services for the patient are provided on the day service
* Provide and ensure completion of all patient paperwork, including Rehab card.
* Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan
* Ensure that all of the patient's needs are met, nothing gets overlooked, and care is consistent with the patient's expressed desires
* Encourage, resolve concerns, and gather testimonials during care plan
* Attend regular staff meetings and report on PT Floors results.
* Create regular training curriculum for PT assistants.
* Obtain management approval to order necessary PT supplies.

*EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE*

•Must have current PTA certification

Experience working in a private medical practice preferred
