We are a well known Dental Clinic in Manhattan seeking a skilled Endodontist to join our team. This role is prefect for anyone seeking work life balance and a stable work schedule.
This position diagnoses and treats complex causes of tooth pain. It performs complex root canal treatments, endodontic surgery and manages traumatic dental injuries and other procedures to relieve pain. They use specialized equipment to treat difficult cases and help preserve the natural tooth instead of extracting it.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
Diagnose and treat diseases of the dental pulp and root tissues.
\* Perform root canal therapy and endodontic retreatment.
\* Conduct endodontic surgeries such as apicoectomies.
\* Use imaging and diagnostic tools to determine the cause of the patient's discomfort.
\* Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists.
\* Educate patients on treatment plans and post-operative care.
\* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
\* Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
\* Stay updated on advancements in endodontic techniques.
\* Provide emergency endodontic care when necessary
Education and Experience
\*Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
\* NYS licensure to practice dentistry.
\* 5+ years' experience as Endodontist.
\* Specialty certification in endodontics.
\* Proficiency in performing root canal therapy and related surgical procedures.
\* Knowledge of dental health and prevention protocols.
\* Ability to work collaboratively with other dental professionals.
\* Strong problem-solving skills and clinical judgment.
\* Empathy and patience when dealing with patients in pain.
Working Conditions
\*Prolonged periods of walking/standing.
\* Bending, stooping.
\* Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
\* Lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
*Salary is $350k-$400k*
