Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team at our private office in Oneonta. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality oral healthcare services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of dental hygiene techniques.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm

Duties:
- Clean teeth, examine patients for oral diseases or disorders, and provide preventative dental care as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, utilizing medical documentation to track patient progress and outcomes.
- Adhere to aseptic technique and follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups.

Qualifications:
- A degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution & licensure to practice as a dental hygienist in New York State
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene techniques and medical terminology.
- Commitment to maintaining aseptic technique and adhering to infection control protocols.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $42.00 - $46.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
