*Job Summary*
Our beautiful Layton office is looking for an energetic hygienist to join our amazing team. Tuesdays 7am-1pm and 2 Fridays per month 7am-1pm. We are a privately owned practice.. NON CORPORATE!!!
*Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
* Take and record vital signs as part of the patient evaluation process.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed, utilizing knowledge of dental terminology.
* Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and documentation.
* Ensure all equipment is sterilized and follows infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
* Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
*Qualifications*
* Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental assisting practices.
* Familiarity with infection control standards and procedures.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
* Experience with pediatric patients.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
