Are you a compassionate and skilled RN looking for flexible hours and meaningful work? *North Hawaii Hospice* is seeking an *After-Hours On-Call Registered Nurse* to provide patient-centered care and support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses across the beautiful north end of the Big Island.

This is a *per diem position* providing *evening, overnight, and weekend on-call coverage*-ideal for nurses who value both flexibility and purpose.

*What You'll Do*

* *Respond to After-Hours Needs:* Provide phone triage, home visits, and symptom management for patients during evenings, nights, and weekends.
* *Deliver Compassionate Care:* Support patients and families with skilled nursing, emotional presence, and clear communication.
* *Collaborate and Communicate:* Coordinate with the on-call team, physicians, and hospice leadership to ensure seamless care.
* *Document with Care:* Complete timely and accurate documentation in line with hospice standards and policies.

*What We're Looking For*

* Current Hawaii RN license
* Hospice or home health experience preferred
* Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
* Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
* Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the on-call team
* Valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation
* Located within our service areas: *Hamakua, North Kohala, Waimea, and Waikoloa*
